If you’re like most college students and either can’t afford a TV or you can’t afford to pay for cable, there are plenty of options for streaming online TV and Movies. In fact, you pretty don’t have to ever watch TV on your TV anymore, you can just watch your favorite shows and movies streaming over the Internet.

Here’s a list of the top 3 websites that have good quality movies and TV shows for free.

1. Surfthechannel.com

This site has the biggest selection of free streaming online movies and TV shows. The quality isn’t quite as good as some other sites, however, they have the biggest collection and they don’t have any ads embedded in the video.

2. TV Paradise

This site has the best quality out of all the sites on the Internet today (note the date of the post). There aren’t quite as many shows and especially movies as surfthechannel, however there are several popular TV shows that come out just days after they air on TV. This site is somehow linked to Hulu which is the next site we’ll check out in the article. It’s important to note that there are embedded ads that you must watch in the middle of each video.

3. Hulu.com

This site is the source of TV Paradise, however the browsing and searching functions don’t work quite as well as TV Paradise. The overall layout of the site is also not quite as clean as TV Paradise, however this is all a matter of opinion. The content is more or less the same, with the same embedded ads.

Between these websites you’ll find just about any show or movie that you would want to watch on TV, and the best part is its all online, streaming and none of it has to be saved to your computer. Enjoy these while they last!
