Popular College Beers
Whether underage or of age, the college staple has to be the foamy goodness of beer, beer, and more beer. Here’s the low-down on what brews they are drinking and kegs they are tapping so you can get antiquated before you get to school. Start chugging.
Natural Light
The cheap and easy, most available beer around for freshman. This is widely popular for games of Beirut or beer pong.
Budweiser
The good old American beer. Nothing says mid-west more than a Bud.
Guinness
A dark Irish brew, more expensive than your average beer but well worth it. Goes down as smooth as milk. Mixes well with Bailey’s for the good ‘ol Irish Car Bomb.
Sam Adams
Cheaper than Guinness but with just as much taste and a variety of flavors. This is a great choice if you want to keep it classy, but don’t want to spend too much.
Miller Light
For those on a diet, cheap and somewhat good for you.
Pabst Blue Ribbon
The Blue Ribbon says it all, this is some prize winning beer. Especially when it comes to college campuses.
